Autograph letter signed from John Walker, Dublin, to Mrs. Garrick [manuscript], 1776 January 4.

A few days will afford theatrical news. Foote playing on Friday. Sir Paul Pliant, the author and Arne soon to open with operas at Crow Street though without much appearance of success. Has the utmost contempt for the theatrical taste here; the wretched Miss Gatley is the sole support of the house.
